INTERNATIONAL INFORMATICS OLYMPIAD-2009

 The 5^th International Informatics Olympiad’s Prize Distribution ceremony was held in K V Danapur Cantt on 12^th Jan, 2009. The prizes were distributed to the students who achieved first, second and third position at school level in their respective classes in IIO(International Informatics Olympiad) 2008 organised by Computer Literacy Foundation. Vidyalaya participated in the IIO-2008 with 496 students maiden time. Total 167 Medals were awarded to the Winners 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd at class level, among them 49 Gold Medals, 89 Silver Medals & 29 Bronze Medals were awarded. Special prize was given to Master Suraj Kumar for standing 8^th position in all over India and 1^st in school. The principal of vidyalaya Mr. R.P.Singh was honoured for giving contribution in organising this event. The school coordinator of this Olympiad, Mr. Manoj Kumar Pandey who also happens to be the P.G.T Computer Science was also honoured for making efforts to make this event successful. On this auspicious occasion, the principal addressed the morning assembly and congratulated all students.
